  1. I know you don't see a point but you don't shake. I fight to not get shell in my eggs. I know they seem silly but usually these are amazing for the handicapped. I'm sure you don't use a sock device either but they are amazing. The one that drops down is the oldest style that was very common in the past with soft boiled eggs.

  2. Thanks for the review. Sure they may not be needed in a residential kitchen (handicap aside), but would be a lifesaver for a commercial kitchen that doesn't have room for a volume seperator machine

  3. the only reason why I think someone would want one of these is that some people are really grossed out by touching raw egg so I could see someone maybe wanting to use these to keep their hands clean. My ex cousin-in-law used to wash his hands in between cracking each egg because he hated touching raw eggs

  4. That #1 spot cracker is called an "Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher" in Germany. At least one company has named it so back in the days. "Eggshell Breaking Device".
Got it for near 20 years – best breakfast table gadget ever made. Makes any boiled egg easy and clean to break.

  5. The SSGP is actually a circumcision device. I would like to see you demonstrate that I’m here. It’s pretty simple and self-explanatory.

  6. Well according to as seen on tv infomercial people crack their eggs by slamming it on a surface as hard as possible, so these are probably a life saver

  7. The SSGP looked like a medieval torture device for the genital area. Not trying to be inappropriate, just saying!

  8. I bought Dad the EZ Cracker after he developed hand tremors. He wanted to continue making his own breakfast as long as possible! So, there ARE people who need & use these. You may, too, someday.

  9. THANK YOU for these reviews. I had no idea such a thing existed until I was complaining about not being able to crack eggs without tons of shell in the bowl(nerve damage AND a stroke) and my son told me about egg crackers. I was like NO WAY lol.

  10. As a stroke victim I’m always looking for utensils that I can use one handed. Amazon to see what’s available, and YouTube to see how well they work. If I could use my right hand I would not need those utensils. To give you a sense of what it’s like to be only one handed, try doing everyday tasks with only your left hand.

  11. The only use for these that would be useful for me is the fact that I always get egg whites on my fingers when I pull the shell apart.

  12. Those two metal ones that "tap" the egg on top and you remove the shell leaving a nice hole would be perfect for making cascarones (confetti eggs).

  13. Lol yeah these seem useless, buti have a little boy who loves to bake and i want him to be able to do everything on his own, but with less mess

  14. 1:03 You crack me up 😀😀😀
    2:12 Looks like Wolf 😀😀😀
8:10 The problem here is that you applied an eggcess amount of force 😀😀😀
No hens 🐔🐔🐔 suffered during this teegke 😀😀😀

  15. I came looking for something for my mom who has arthritis and this was great and informative so was quite surprising to hear him say he did not know why anyone would need these. I figured it might be one of the reasons for the video, but either way great content to see options for those who are differently abled or sometimes one may want to have something that is more accurate than just hitting against the edge of bowl or counter…always mice to have options.

  16. I actually use my spatula or flipper. Hold the egg in one hand and crack it with the edge of the spatula. No egg running down the side of the bowl. You can use the edge of a fork or a butter knife also.👍👌✌
